Pluss’ training team in Bridgwater have been working in partnership with Bridgwater College to develop a Personal Presentation Course.
Its all about helping our job seekers to prepare for interviews - with their appearance, grooming, confidence and self development.
Bridgwater College hair and beauty saloon has been kind enough to support us by utilising their students and providing us with a package consisting of facials, manicures and hair do’s!
This partnership has multiple purposes and benefits for both the college and our workchoice and work programme job seekers, not only does it provide the opportunity for a make-over for our clients but it also provides them with a good experience of the college, which will hopefully encourage them to go back.
Also the students gain experience of working with people with disabilities and enhance their communication and customer service skills. The College has also benefitted by fulfilling their requirement of working with people in the community and those furthest from the labour market.
