Other Opportunies
Two opportunities have arisen in the B&NES Employment Development Service, based at Trimbridge House in Bath. This service is managed by an organisation called Pluss on behalf of the Council. Its purpose is to support disabled adults on the WORKSTEP programme to gain and maintain, mainstream employment.
Senior Employment Co-ordinator (1 years fixed term contract)
£21,519 - £23,708 pa
37 hours per week

We are seeking a dynamic person who is able to place and support disabled people in work, within mainstream employment. This includes supporting the disabled person and the employer. The successful candidate will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills, possess IT skills, will demonstrate an awareness of adults with disabilities and have a proven record of working in mainstream employment. The post will involve working mainly in B&NES but will be required to travel to Bristol and attend meetings in the South West Region.
Job Coach/Employment Co-ordinator (1 years fixed term contract)
£16,830 -£17,802 pa
37 hours per week

We are seeking a person who can demonstrate the ability to introduce a disabled person to the wok place, support and instruct them in mainstream paid employment. The job coach will remain in the workplace until the client is familiar with all aspects of the role. The successful person will require an awareness of adults with disabilities, possess IT skills, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The post will involve working mainly in B&NES but may involve attending some meetings in Bristol
