Pluss were initially involved at the Royal United Hospital in Bath with
the ‘Project Search’ internship programme from 2009-2010. Students had
the chance to complete placements in departments such as Oral Surgery,
the Finance Department, Sterile Services, Human Resources and the
Kitchens.
As a result, some of the students have now gained
employment at the RUH and continue to be supported by Pluss. We provide
job coaching as the new employees start in employment, enabling them to
maintain the skills they have learnt throughout the year and make a
successful transition into work. We also offer ongoing advice and
support.
