Pluss Equipping provides mobility equipment and services to people with disabilities and older people.
We offer a one-stop shop providing assessment, purchase, servicing and aftercare of all equipment. Our staff are fully trained and many have a disability themselves which gives them a unique insight in to our customers needs.
Pluss Equipping has three key areas of work, these are:
Mobility Sales
The five retail outlets located in Barnstaple, Bridgwater, Exeter, Paignton and Plymouth supply over £1 million of product and service to disabled people in the South West annually; well over 4000 satisfied customers.
Pluss staff are trained to undertake assessment so clients can be confident that products selected meet their mobility needs. This is done within friendly, non pressured, specially designed showroom demonstration areas or within the client's home, reflective of the client's own needs.
To complement this service we also provide hire of many of the higher value items such as beds, hoists, bathlifts, mattresses wheelchairs and scooters.
Repair Maintenance Lift and Access
A dedicated team of over 25 skilled technicians provide a full range of electromechanical services to the community across Devon, Somerset and parts of Cornwall. Specialising in Mobility equipment the department supplies, maintains, services, installs and provides call out services to over 15,000 users. Typical products include scooters , wheelchairs, stairlifts, through-the- floor lifts, bath lifts, beds, ceiling track hoists, mobile and gantry hoists.
The RMLA has contracts with private and public organisations as well as providing one-off bespoke services to the general public. The department also provides Portable Appliance Testing within the community in either care homes or clients' home settings. Other functions include Disability Discrimination Act advice for commercial premises and solutions to ensure compliance.
Contract Service (CES)
The contract service section provides tailored solutions for formal contracts within the public sector, including the NHS and local authorities.

Pluss has a combined experience of more than 10 years providing these services to the local disabled community of the South West of England.
