Secura-Belt - Occupant Retaining Belt for Wheelchair users
Description
The Secura-Belt wheelchair occupant retaining belt is designed for fitment to the vast majority of wheelchairs currently in use today.
The belt is designed to retain the occupant within the wheelchair who could, as a result of their disability, lose their balance and fall or slip from the chair when in motion.
Intended user
The user generally must have adequate upper body control and be generally able to maintain posture and position within the wheelchair and should be capable of understanding the operation and function of the belt.
In instances where the user may not have the understanding required, the belt can be fixed so that inadvertent adjustment by the user can be prevented.
Unique Design
The Secura-Belt has been designed internally at Pluss to lead the way in safety fully meeting the MHRA guidelines. This is achieved through our patented Locking Buckle with tamper evident cable tie.
