Pluss were delighted to speak at KPMG's prestigious breakfast network meeting today held at the beautiful Queen Annes Battery in Plymouth.
Speaking to over 80 businesses, we presented the business case for employing a diverse workforce. We were also joined by our partner employer, Wrigley.
Daniel Martin, Logistics Manager at Wrigley, spoke about how working with Pluss has given Wrigley a competitive edge. But it was Pluss customer, Karl, that stole the show. Karl started work for Wrigley in 2013 as an Operative. Due to his exceptional hard work, leadership skills and commitment, Karl has now been promoted to Team Leader of the co-packing department with responsibility for 9 employees. Karl has a hearing and speech impairment.
Pluss were then honoured to recieve a cheque (from the proceeds of the event) for our chosen charity St Lukes Hospice in Plymouth.
A great morning had by all.
