Operations Director

Tom’s early career was spent in the manufacturing industry predominantly in fork lift truck, construction equipment transmissions and precision optics manufacturing. His career included procurement, operational and general management roles.  As a procurement specialist, Tom was a member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply.

Tom joined Industrial services Group (ISG) in 2001.  At that time ISG was a partnership between Devon, Plymouth and Torbay Councils providing supported employment through the DWP Workstep contract, supported businesses and a range of local specialist services.  ISG was externalised as Pluss in 2005.

Since that time Tom has been responsible for the management of Learning Disability and Mental Health employment services and various ESF programmes.  Tom then became Head of Employment Services for Pluss including the management of DWP Work Choice contracts and has been a member of the Pluss Leadership Team for a number of years.  In 2015 Tom joined the Pluss Board as Operations Director and has responsibility for all Employment and Enterprise Operations.
