Pluss operates as a Social Enterprise and is absolutely about making profit - profit that is ploughed back into developing innovative projects to support disadvantaged people into work.

Pluss has developed (or is involved in) a range of projects that offer creative and complimentary solutions to mainstream employment services:

Originally developed around a customer with Autism who had a particular interest in cars (in partnership with Plymouth City Council and ESF), Future Clean is Pluss' environmentally friendly car valeting business that is taking off around the country... and indeed, the World!

Project Search
Project Search is an initiative being piloted at 14 sites across the UK and has a very clear goal – to give young people with learning disabilities the skills to gain competitive paid employment.

Pluss are also involved in lots more creative partnerships including:

  • DotComUnity - A national disability directory of events and services. Pluss are regional sponsors in the South West.
  • Partnering 4 Success - An initiative (funded by the European Unions Grundtvig Partnership Programme) involving exchange trips between three Supported Employmnet agencies in Finland, Spain and the UK.
  • Forwards in Gloucestershire - A partnership between 13 organisations to help people with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health issues into work across Gloucestershire.
  • National Star College in Cheltenham - Pluss are supporting up to 20 students to find work.
