We provide employment training for individuals with a learning disability who live in Torbay.
We listen to you to find out what you would like to do.
We offer training for you to learn the employment skills you need.
You will have a key worker that will help you decide what training you want.
We can refer you on to employment through a dedicated Pluss Placement Team.
We will:
• Help you to learn new skills and gain qualifications.
• Improve your confidence and self esteem.
• Enable you to enjoy improved integration in the community that paid employment brings.

Dawn – "I lacked confidence in myself and my skills before joining Pluss. My key worker helped me to see that I was good at some things and needed help with others. Courses at Pluss are short, fun and about working. I was really proud to achieve my Workright Certificate. I felt ready to try work but still worried about making the first step. My key worker and I met with my Employment Consultant who explained that I could start a work placement helped by a job coach. I have been working at McDonalds for six months, I don’t need a job coach any longer and last month I started to receive payment. I am saving some of the money for new clothes and a holiday."
