Catalyst Pluss

Catalyst Pluss is a Transnational project – with funding from the European Social Fund, working in partnership with the West of England School and College for people with little or no sight.

This is a transnational project, so Pluss will be working with partner organisations across Europe to develop the business model and share good practice.

The project is designed to provide employment and training opportunities for people most disadvantaged in the labour market, through the medium of social enterprise.

Pluss will be setting up and assisting the set up of new social enterprises across the South West of England.

Unemployed people can join the project to gain work experience, access training and learn new skills to enable them to gain future employment opportunities. In particular the project is designed to help the following groups of people:

         Lone parents

Young people who are NEET (Not in Employment,     Education or Training)

         People over 50

People with a disability or health conditions

         People from Ethnic minorities
